We are excited to announce that the incredible Freya Barton will be our first solo artist of 2025! Freya's colourful paintings radiate joy. She experiments with ideas and materials throughout her work creating unique work which tells a story. Her inspiration comes from Folk Art, her love of colour and the composition of still life. Her paintings use vibrant playful colours and play with perspective, with elements of pattern and 2D imagery stemming from her background in Textile Design. Come to see her wonderful work which is sure to brighten up the cold February days!

Still life plays a central role in Freya’s practice, reimagining traditional arrangements with a bold, contemporary twist. Inspired by Folk Art and decorative design, her compositions burst with playful colours, flattened perspectives, and intricate patterns.
